Puerto Vallarta Weather

Puerto Vallarta weather can be described as tropically perfect. The winter months are comfortably warm to swim in the ocean and get that sun tan, (or sun burn- careful!) But, some say that it can get a little too warm in the summer during the rainy season. The most comforatble and desired times for vacationing are form October - May. Puerto Vallarta weather is generally good but there are some times where the good sunny weather turns to rainy weather. See below for weather details.

Puerto Vallarta is surrounded by jungle, and has considerable rainy weather. The rainy weather season is June through October, with the most rain in September. While the rain can spoil a day at the beach, the storms can be quite beautiful, with rain seeming to march across the hills and lightning lighting up the sky.
Runoff from the rains can turn the water brown in areas, detracting somewhat from the beauty of the beaches. Temperatures reach 90 degrees F (32 C) during the summer, and the humidity can add to the perception of heat. During the winter, Puerto Vallarta weather temperatures are in the low to mid 80's F (28-30 C), quite comfortable for a stroll on the beach. Nighttime in Puerto Vallarta weather temperatures range from the 60's to the mid 70's (19-24 C).
